Methodology, data sources and limits

A career judgment should show its working.

FARDALENS connects professional evidence to Dutch-market reality without treating a job title, a single vacancy or an automated score as proof. This page explains the standards behind the judgment—not the proprietary model used to produce it.

What the judgment considers

Five questions. One accountable direction.

These are the public dimensions of the assessment, not a step-by-step recipe. Keeping them distinct prevents professional strength from being confused with easy market access.

  1. 01Professional evidence

What the person’s work record can credibly demonstrate.

  2. 02Role translation

How that evidence may be understood in the Dutch market.

  3. 03Market reality

Whether current conditions support the proposed direction.

  4. 04Practical access

Which conditions may enable, narrow or delay the route.

  5. 05Human judgment

A clear direction with uncertainty and limits kept visible.

Public principles

What every conclusion must be able to withstand.

Evidence before assertion.

Important conclusions must connect to identifiable professional or market evidence. Missing proof is not converted into assumed capability.

Traceable, not generic

Fit and access stay separate.

A person may show strong professional potential while facing language, registration, sponsorship or other practical constraints.

Two different questions

Uncertainty stays visible.

When missing or conflicting information could materially affect the direction, the limitation is made clear rather than hidden behind false precision.

Limits stated openly

A person remains accountable.

Technology can assist the work, but a paid Career Outlook is reviewed before delivery and is not released as unexamined automated output.

Human-reviewed

Evidence families

Claims are tested from more than one angle.

FARDALENS combines authoritative information, current-market observation and relevant professional context. The exact source selection, weighting and validation rules remain internal.

  1. 01
    Authoritative information

Official and recognised sources are used where regulation, registration or access conditions could materially affect a decision.

  2. 02
    Current market evidence

Recent employer and labour-market signals help test whether a direction exists in practice, while avoiding conclusions from a single vacancy.

  3. 03
    Professional context

Relevant human experience can challenge an interpretation or expose a blind spot, but it does not replace verifiable evidence.

Quality control

Technology assists. A person remains accountable.

The Free Career Check is a limited first filter. Paid Career Outlook assessments require analyst review before delivery, and automated output is never released as the final report on its own.

Traceability

Material judgments must be supportable from the candidate record or dated market evidence.

Challenge

Proposed interpretations can be questioned, amended or rejected when the evidence does not support them.

Accountability

A human reviewer remains responsible for what reaches the candidate in a final Career Outlook.

What remains proprietary

Transparency has a deliberate boundary.

Candidates should understand the standard, the evidence categories, the role of human review and the limits of the service. Publishing the internal engine would not improve informed use—and would make the method easier to imitate or manipulate.

  1. 01
    Internal evidence model

How professional evidence is structured, compared and translated across roles remains part of the FARDALENS internal method.

  2. 02
    Decision logic

Weighting, thresholds, exception rules and profession-specific decision patterns are not published.

  3. 03
    Analyst workflow

Internal review prompts, validation checks, quality controls and case-handling procedures remain confidential.

  4. 04
    Product learning

How reviewer corrections and outcome evidence improve the service is governed internally and is not exposed as a public playbook.

Limitations and no-guarantee policy

Decision support is not certainty.

FARDALENS aims to make a career decision more informed and defensible. It does not promise an outcome that depends on employers, regulators, economic conditions or information not available at the time.

  1. 01
    No job or interview guarantee

An assessment supports a career decision. It cannot control employer demand, selection, timing or hiring outcomes.

  2. 02
    No visa or legal advice

Market-access analysis is practical career intelligence, not immigration, tax, employment or other legal advice.

  3. 03
    No false precision

The Free Career Check gives one of three directions—not a public numeric score or a complete career assessment.

  4. 04
    No claim from missing evidence

Unknown information stays unknown. If it could change the recommendation, the assessment is not finalised until it is resolved.

  5. 05
    No conclusion from one vacancy

A single role can illustrate fit, but it cannot by itself prove durable market demand.

  6. 06
    No permanent market truth

Roles, salaries, sponsorship behaviour and access conditions change. Market evidence is time-stamped and should be rechecked.

Start with the decision—not the application.

The initial check takes about two minutes and does not require an email before showing your result.
