Clear terms for an early decision-support service.

1. Scope

These terms govern your use of the public FARDALENS website and the Free Career Check. By using the Free Career Check, you agree to these terms.

Public purchase is not currently available. These terms therefore do not create a paid-service agreement and do not cover payment, delivery or cancellation of a paid Career Outlook. Separate terms will be provided before any public paid service becomes available.

2. The Free Career Check

The Free Career Check is a short, rule-based decision-support tool. It uses the answers you select to provide an initial signal: Proceed, More context needed or Not yet. More context needed means the automated check could not reach a confident recommendation from the answers given. It does not mean that a review has started.

The result is preliminary and informational. It is not a complete career assessment, recruitment decision, immigration assessment, legal opinion or guarantee of employment, sponsorship, interview, salary or admission to a paid service.

FARDALENS may use human review for restricted or invitation-only services, but the public Free Career Check itself does not include individual human advice.

3. Your responsibilities

• Provide answers that are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• Do not submit confidential information or unnecessary sensitive personal data.
• Use the result as one input to your own decision, not as the sole basis for a major career, financial, legal or immigration decision.
• Seek qualified professional advice where your situation requires it.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service unlawfully, fraudulently or to harm another person;
• attempt to bypass access controls, security measures or other technical protections;
• interfere with the website, database or other users;
• use automated tools to scrape, overload or repeatedly submit the Free Career Check, forms or other parts of the service without written permission; or
• copy or republish substantial parts of the service as your own product.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate abuse or comply with law.

5. Intellectual property

The FARDALENS name, visual identity, website content, assessment structure and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use your own result for personal purposes, but no ownership in the service or its methods is transferred to you.

6. Availability, changes and external links

We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may correct, suspend or change the Free Career Check when needed for security, quality or product development.

Current vacancies or third-party websites may be shown as market evidence. They are controlled by their respective owners, may change without notice and are not endorsements, placement offers or guarantees from FARDALENS.

7. Liability

You remain responsible for decisions you make using the website. To the extent permitted by law, FARDALENS is not responsible for loss caused by treating a preliminary Free Career Check result as a guarantee or as a substitute for advice tailored to your full circumstances.

Nothing in these terms limits any consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability arising from fraud or deliberate misconduct.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Notice explains what data is processed, why it is needed, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The effective date and version at the top of this page show which version applies. Material changes will apply prospectively.

Dutch law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer, this does not remove mandatory protections or court rights available to you under the law that applies where you live.
